What are alfalfa pellets
Alfalfa pellets are feed made from freshly cut alfalfa that is dried, ground into grass meal (VTM) and pressed into pellets. We cut the grass at the budding stage, when it contains the most nutrients, so the finished feed keeps its protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals.
The whole path from cut grass to pellet takes a few hours. Pelleted alfalfa is easy to dose, store and transport, and losses when handling it are minimal.
